Create the Markers

1. Create all your markers.

Add the markers to a folder

2. At the top of the Layers Panel, click on the Folder Icon displaying the tooltip: "Add Group".
   You will see the folder added to the Layers Panel.
    
3. Click and drag each overlay’s row into the folder.
   The folder now holds a set of overlays, so the folder is considered a Group.

Create the grid

4. Create a grid over the markers.

Count the Markers

5. At the top of the Layers Panel, click on the Toolbox's gear and wrench icon.
   You will see a window with Core Operations and Plugin options appear.
    
6. Under the "Aggregate" heading > "Count" subheading, click on the link: "Markers in Regions".
    
7. Under the "Select Group" heading, click the button: "Select".
    
8. Click to select the folder from the list.
    
9. Check "Add & Show Counts" to include the count in the grid.
    
10. Click the "COUNT MARKERS" button.
     
11. A new window will appear, with the total amount of markers within each section of the grid. 
    

    (Optional) Click the Download CSV button to save a copy of the grid.

     
12. In the top-right corner of the Toolbox window, click on the "X" button, to close the window.
