Google and ScribbleMaps geocode allowances and top-ups

Google and ScribbleMaps have separate geocoding allowances. A geocode converts an address into coordinates for your map.

Included monthly allowances

• Pro Basic: 500 Google geocodes and 1,000 ScribbleMaps geocodes each month.

• Pro Business: 5,000 Google geocodes per month, plus unlimited ScribbleMaps geocoding with speed and concurrency limits.

Included allowances renew at the start of each calendar month at 00:00 UTC. Unused included geocodes do not carry over. An annual subscription still receives its allowance month by month.

ScribbleMaps batches can contain up to 75,000 submitted address rows. Unlimited use does not mean that every row runs at once. Jobs may queue or pause to keep normal searches responsive.

Buy additional Google geocodes

1. Sign in with an eligible Pro subscription and open Import List.

2. Select Google in Geocoding provider.

3. Choose Buy Google geocodes.

4. Enter the quantity under Geocodes. The minimum order is 100.

5. Review Total Cost, enter your payment details, and choose Checkout Now.

6. Review the charge and quantity, then choose Confirm.

Successful checkout shows Google geocodes purchased! and refreshes your balance. Purchased Google geocodes do not expire or reset with the monthly allowance. They are available after your included Google allowance is used.

Google top-ups add only to your Google balance. They do not increase your ScribbleMaps allowance. Geocodes and general-purpose credits are separate purchases and balances.

What counts against an allowance?

Within one batch, repeated normalized addresses are resolved once, and their result is applied to each matching row. Successful distinct matches count against the selected provider's allowance. Unmatched addresses and provider errors do not consume geocodes. Some cached Google matches are free.

The service reserves enough allowance before starting a job. Completed work may still consume geocodes if you cancel. Unused reservations are released after the job is reconciled.

If checkout is interrupted

Keep the panel open and retry checkout there. It retains the same purchase identity and quantity. If payment remains unconfirmed, contact support before placing another order after a reload.
