Add a label next to a marker to continuously display info about the marker
When you create an interactive map, the map's user can click on a marker to view information about the marker.
However, when you create an image, PDF, or print version, the user cannot click to view the information.
If you want the map to continuously display information about the marker, you can add a label next to the marker. To learn how; visit this link: Label Tool—Create a label

Quick Key: Or you can press the "Q" button on your keyboard.
- In the Map View, click anywhere on the label.

Make the size of a marker/label shrink when you zoom out
In Scribble Maps, the regular setting is: a marker/label's size is automatically responsive to the zoom level. So the size of the marker/label remains the same when you zoom in or out.
You can make the size of the marker/label become smaller when you zoom out beyond the current zoom level.
Note: You will see the current zoom-level at the center of the map footer. For example: "Zoom:3".
- Select the Edit/Measure Tool in the top toolbar.
Quick Key: Or you can press the "Q" button on your keyboard.
- In the Map View, click anywhere on the marker/label.
- There are 2 options for this step.
Option A
For a marker, you will see the info bubble and marker editor window will pop-up.For a label, you will see the label editor window. - Click the checkbox for "Shrink On Zoom". Then click "Save".

Correct the size of markers/labels by reducing the size of the produced image or PDF
Note: To produce a PDF, you must be logged-in to a Pro account. To learn how to upgrade, visit this link: How to upgrade to a Pro account
Your map’s markers/labels may be too small because the image or PDF you’re producing is too large. The simple solution is for the map user to zoom in on the image or PDF.
However, to improve the map user's experience, you may want to reduce the size dimensions of the image or PDF. The smaller dimensions might enable the user to view the markers/labels without having to zoom in.
If you have a Pro Business account, you can produce images in dimensions up to 11000x11000px. These maximum dimensions are much larger than the resolution of most desktop computer screens. A screen with a resolution of 1920x1080px is usually considered large.
Note: The principle applies to dimensions in pixels and inches.
An image larger than the screen resolution shrinks to fit the screen, making everything smaller. The markers/labels then appear too small (unless the user zooms in).
So you may want to select smaller dimensions when you produce the image or PDF.
