Create two labels

Change the settings for one of the labels
Make one label have a different:

Fill area colour - (background colour).
- Border colour.
- Border thickness.

- Select the "Style Picker Tool" in the top toolbar.
Quick Key: Or you can press the "I" button on your keyboard.
- In the Map View, click on the source label to copy the settings.
The source label is the unedited label:
- White fill area - (background).
- Black border.
- Border thickness (3).
- In the top toolbar, you will see the colours change in the:
Fill Colour Picker displaying the tooltip: "Change fills. Fill connected lines".ANDBorder Colour Picker displaying the tooltip: "Changes line/border colour".
- In the top toolbar, select the "Fill/Change Colour Tool".
Quick Key: Or you can press the "G" button on your keyboard.
- In the Map View, click on the destination label you want to copy the settings to.
You will see the label's colours/thickness have changed.

Note:You can also copy a:
- Line's colour/style/thickness/cap-style to another line.
- Line’s colour/style/thickness to a shape’s border.
- Line’s colour/thickness to a label’s border.
- Label’s border colour/thickness to a line.
- Label’s border colour/thickness to a shape’s border.
- Label’s fill area colour to a shape’s fill area.
- Shape’s border colour/style/thickness to another shape’s border.
- Shape’s fill area colour to another shape’s fill area.
- Shape’s border colour/style/thickness to a line.
- Shape’s fill area colour, and border colour/thickness, to a label’s fill area and border.
