Create the overlay
- Create one of these types of overlays.
Draw Tool—Draw a freeform line
Line Tool—Draw a Straight Line, Connected Lines, Flight Line or Dimension Line
Pen/Curve Tool—Draw a precise curved line
Polygon Tool—Draw a polygon
Marker Tool—Create a marker
Bulk Edit Styles
Select multiple overlays from the Layers menu or add the overlays to a Folder.
Add the overlay to a folder
- At the top of the Layers Panel, click on the Folder Icon displaying the tooltip: "Add Group".
You will see the folder added to the Layers Panel.

Click and drag each overlay’s row into the folder.
The folder now holds a set of overlays, so the folder is considered a Group.

Edit the Styles
- From the Layers Panel, click on the 3 dots to the right of the folder displaying the tooltip: "More actions"

Click "Change Style(s)" from the Group list of options.
The STYLE CHANGE menu will open.
Select Styles to Change
- Tick the checkboxes next to each setting that you wish to modify.

Update the fields:

Marker & Label Style: Adjust the icons, size, and whether the marker or label size should shrink when zooming out.
- Icon: Choose an icon for your marker.
- Size (%): Set the size, either in absolute terms or relative to the map scale.
- Shrink on Zoom: Decide if the marker or label should decrease in size when zooming out to maintain visual consistency.

Line/Fill Style: Modify line colour, weight, style,
- Line Color: Pick a colour for your line.
- Weight & Style: Choose the thickness and pattern of the line.
- Fill Style: Select a fill pattern for polygons.
Apply and Save Changes
- (Optional) If you need to revert to the original Shrink on Zoom settings before any changes, use the Clear Shrink option under the marker settings, which resets the shrink behaviour to the default state.
- Click "Save Styles" to apply the changes. You can cancel by clicking Cancel if you decide not to apply the changes.
