The Get Data tool shows summary information for any polygon on your map. It pulls population figures, place details, and OpenStreetMap counts for the area inside the polygon. You can also add roads, building footprints, aerial imagery, and points of interest directly from the panel.
View data for a polygon
- In Map View, right-click the polygon.
- From the menu, click Get Data.
A panel opens near the polygon showing a summary table. The table may include:
| Row | Description |
|---|---|
| Population | Total population inside the polygon (Pro only) |
| Area | Area in km² (Pro only) |
| Density | Population per km² (Pro only) |
| Place | Place name and type when the polygon matches a known region |
| Buildings | Count of buildings from OpenStreetMap |
| Amenities | Count of amenities from OpenStreetMap |
| Shops | Count of shops from OpenStreetMap |
| Natural | Count of natural features from OpenStreetMap |
Note: Population, Area, and Density require a Pro account. Free users will see an Upgrade link in those rows.
