Any
"ANY" allows any type of value in the attribute-value field, including; words, and numbers.To select the "ANY" type, the attribute can be set to shared or not shared.
- In the overlay's "ATTRIBUTES" window, find or add an empty attribute row.
- Under the "Type" heading, click on the drop-down menu. Then select; "ANY".
- (Optional) Under the "Shared" heading, click to add a check to the box.
- Under the "Attribute" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute name. For example: "PROPERTY TYPE".
- Under the "Value" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute value. For example: "Single Family Residential".
- (Optional) If this is the last attribute you're adding, click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTES".
Number Any
"NUMBER ANY" only allows numbers in the attribute-value field.
- In the overlay's "ATTRIBUTES" window, find or add an empty attribute row.
- Under the "Shared" heading, click to add a check to the box.
- Under the "Attribute" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute name. For example: "YEAR BUILT".
- Under the "Type" heading, click on the drop-down menu. Then select; "NUMBER ANY".
- Under the "Value" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute value. For example: "2012".
- (Optional) If this is the last attribute you're adding, click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTES".
Number Range
"NUMBER RANGE" limits which numbers can be inputted in the attribute-value field. The numbers must be within the range you specify. Optionally, you can also limit possible numbers by setting a step (interval) value.
- In the overlay's "ATTRIBUTES" window, find or add an empty attribute row.
- Under the "Shared" heading, click to add a check to the box.
- Under the "Attribute" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute name. For example: "ESTIMATED PRICE".
- Under the "Type" heading, click on the drop-down menu. Then select; "NUMBER RANGE".
The "ATTRIBUTE OPTIONS" window will appear.
- Input the minimum, maximum, and step values.
- Under the "Min" heading, input the minimum value. For example: "400000".
- Under the "Max" heading, input the maximum value. For example: "2000000".
- (Optional) Under the "Step" heading, input the step value. For example: "10000".
- Under the "Min" heading, input the minimum value. For example: "400000".
- Click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTE".
The "ATTRIBUTE OPTIONS" window will close.
- Under the "Value" heading, click on the field. Then input the attribute value. For example: "770000".
- (Optional) If this is the last attribute you're adding, click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTES".
Date
"DATE" only allows dates in the attribute-value field.
- In the overlay's "ATTRIBUTES" window, find or add an empty attribute row.
- Under the "Shared" heading, click to add a check to the box.
- Under the "Attribute" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute name. For example: "START DATE".
- Under the "Type" heading, click on the drop-down menu. Then select; "DATE".
The "ATTRIBUTE OPTIONS" window will appear.
- Under the "Date Type" heading, select the date format you want to display. For example: "$ US dollars".
- Click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTE".
The "ATTRIBUTE OPTIONS" window will close.
- Under the "Value" heading, click on the field. Then input the attribute value. For example: "770000".
- (Optional) If this is the last attribute you're adding, click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTES".
Multiple Options
"MULTIPLE OPTIONS" limits the attribute-values to the options you create. Team members select the options from a drop-down menu in the "ATTRIBUTES" window.Team members might find an option's text difficult to read, because of formatting, etc. If you want to make an option easier to read, you can create a human-readable label for the option.For example:Option = CO
Label = ColoradoIn the Map View, the user will click the overlay to view the attribute in the info bubble. For the attribute-value, the user will see the option (not the label).
- In the overlay's "ATTRIBUTES" window, find or add an empty attribute row.
- Under the "Shared" heading, click to add a check to the box.
- Under the "Attribute" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute name. For example: "STATE".
- Under the "Type" heading, click on the drop-down menu. Then select: "MULTIPLE OPTIONS".
The "ATTRIBUTE OPTIONS" window will appear.
- Input the option's value and the label's value.
- Under the "Option Value" heading, input the option's value. For example: "CO".
- (Optional) Under the "Label" heading, input the label's value. For example; "Colorado".
- Under the "Option Value" heading, input the option's value. For example: "CO".
- (Optional) To add another option, click the button: "+ Add Option". Then repeat step #5.
- Click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTE".
The "ATTRIBUTES OPTIONS" window will close.
- Under the "Value" heading, click on the drop-down menu displaying: "NOT SET". Then select the attribute value's label. For example; "COLORADO".
- (Optional) If this is the last attribute you're adding, click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTES".
True/False
"TRUE/FALSE" only allows a checked or unchecked value in the attribute-value field.In the Map View, the user will click the overlay to view the attribute in the info bubble. For the attribute-value, the user will see either "true" or "false".
- In the overlay's "ATTRIBUTES" window, find or add an empty attribute row.
- Under the "Shared" heading, click to add a check to the box.
- Under the "Attribute" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute name. For example: "INGROUND POOL".
- Under the "Type" heading, click on the drop-down menu. Then select: "TRUE/FALSE".
- Under the "Value" heading, click to add a check to the box.
- (Optional) If this is the last attribute you're adding, click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTES".
Formula
"FORMULA" allows you to use mathjs to make calculations within your attribute.In the Map View, the user will click the overlay to view the attribute in the info bubble. For the attribute-value, the user will see the result (not the formula).
- In the overlay's "ATTRIBUTES" window, find or add an empty attribute row.
- Under the "Shared" heading, click to add a check to the box.
- Under the "Attribute" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute name. For example: "Half of Region".
- Under the "Type" heading, click on the drop-down menu. Then select "FORMULA".
The "ATTRIBUTE OPTIONS" window will appear.
- Enter your formula in the empty field. For example: "$area_sqkm/2".
- Click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTE".
The "ATTRIBUTE OPTIONS" window will close.
- (Optional) If this is the last attribute you're adding, click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTES".
Currency
"CURRENCY" only allows numbers in the attribute-value field.
- In the overlay's "ATTRIBUTES" window, find or add an empty attribute row.
- Under the "Shared" heading, click to add a check to the box.
- Under the "Attribute" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute name. For example: "SALARY".
- Under the "Type" heading, click on the drop-down menu. Then select; "CURRENCY".
The "ATTRIBUTE OPTIONS" window will appear.
- Under the "Currency Type" heading, select the type of currency you want to display. For example: "$ US dollars".
- Under the "Decimals" heading, select how many numbers will appear after the decimal. For example: "2".
- Click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTE".
The "ATTRIBUTE OPTIONS" window will close.
- (Optional) If this is the last attribute you're adding, click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTES".
Percentage
"PERCENTAGE" only allows numbers in the attribute-value field.
- In the overlay's "ATTRIBUTES" window, find or add an empty attribute row.
- Under the "Shared" heading, click to add a check to the box.
- Under the "Attribute" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute name. For example: "CHANCE OF SUCCESS".
- Under the "Type" heading, click on the drop-down menu. Then select; "PERCENTAGE".
- Under the "Value" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute value. For example: "12".
- (Optional) If this is the last attribute you're adding, click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTES".
Scientific
"SCIENTIFIC" is designed for the use of very large or very small numbers using Scientific notation, in an effort to avoid a long strings of digits.
- In the overlay's "ATTRIBUTES" window, find or add an empty attribute row.
- Under the "Shared" heading, click to add a check to the box.
- Under the "Attribute" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute name. For example: "PLANETARY MASS".
- Under the "Type" heading, click on the drop-down menu. Then select; "SCIENTIFIC".
- Under the "Value" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute value. For example: "6,600,000,000,000,000,000,000".
- Under the "Value" heading, you will see the number has been converted automatically.
For example: "6.621e+0".
- (Optional) If this is the last attribute you're adding, click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTES".
Auto Fill > Length KM
"LENGTH KM" automatically inputs the line's distance measurement into the attribute-value field. The measurement units are kilometers (KM).You can select the "LENGTH KM" type for; straight lines, freeform lines, precise curved lines, and flight lines.You can also select the "LENGTH KM" type for a shape's border.
- In the overlay's "ATTRIBUTES" window, find or add an empty attribute row.
- Under the "Shared" heading, click to add a check to the box.
- Under the "Attribute" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute name. For example: "DISTANCE (KM)".
- Under the "Type" heading, click on the drop-down menu. Then select: "LENGTH KM".
- Under the "Value" heading, you will see the distance measurement is added automatically.
For example: "4087.7492".
- (Optional) If this is the last attribute you're adding, click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTES".
Auto Fill > Area SQKM
"AREA SQKM" automatically inputs the shape's area measurement into the attribute-value field. The measurement units are square kilometers (SQKM).You can select the "AREA SQKM" type for shapes: rectangles, circles, and polygons.
- In the overlay's "ATTRIBUTES" window, find or add an empty attribute row.
- Under the "Shared" heading, click to add a check to the box.
- Under the "Attribute" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute name. For example: "AREA (SQKM)".
- Under the "Type" heading, click on the drop-down menu. Then select; "AREA SQKM".
- Under the "Value" heading, you will see the area measurement is added automatically.
For example: "3571380.876".
- (Optional) If this is the last attribute you're adding, click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTES".
Auto Fill > Length FT
"LENGTH FT" automatically inputs the line's distance measurement into the attribute-value field. The measurement units are feet (FT).You can select the "LENGTH FT" type for; straight lines, freeform lines, precise curved lines, and flight lines.You can also select the "LENGTH FT" type for a shape's border.

Auto Fill > Area SQFT
"AREA SQFT" automatically inputs the shape's area measurement into the attribute-value field. The measurement units are square kilometers (SQFT).You can select the "AREA SQFT" type for shapes: rectangles, circles, and polygons.
- In the overlay's "ATTRIBUTES" window, find or add an empty attribute row.
- Under the "Shared" heading, click to add a check to the box.
- Under the "Attribute" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute name. For example: "AREA (SQFT)".
- Under the "Type" heading, click on the drop-down menu. Then select; "AREA SQFT".
- Under the "Value" heading, you will see the area measurement is added automatically.
For example: "8763570.138".
- (Optional) If this is the last attribute you're adding, click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTES".
Auto Fill > Length MI
"LENGTH MI" automatically inputs the line's distance measurement into the attribute-value field. The measurement units are miles (MI).You can select the "LENGTH MI" type for; straight lines, freeform lines, precise curved lines, and flight lines.You can also select the "LENGTH MI" type for a shape's border.
- In the overlay's "ATTRIBUTES" window, find or add an empty attribute row.
- Under the "Shared" heading, click to add a check to the box.
- Under the "Attribute" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute name. For example: "DISTANCE (MI)".
- Under the "Type" heading, click on the drop-down menu. Then select: "LENGTH MI".
- Under the "Value" heading, you will see the distance measurement is added automatically.
For example: "3225.6951".
- (Optional) If this is the last attribute you're adding, click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTES".
Auto Fill > Area SQMI
"AREA SQMI" automatically inputs the shape's area measurement into the attribute-value field. The measurement units are square miles (SQMI).You can select the "AREA SQMI" type for shapes: rectangles, circles, and polygons.
- In the overlay's "ATTRIBUTES" window, find or add an empty attribute row.
- Under the "Shared" heading, click to add a check to the box.
- Under the "Attribute" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute name. For example: "AREA (SQMI)".
- Under the "Type" heading, click on the drop-down menu. Then select: "AREA SQMI".
- Under the "Value" heading, you will see the area measurement is added automatically.
For example: "2853350.5122"
- (Optional) If this is the last attribute you're adding, click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTES".
Auto Fill > Lat,Lng
"LAT,LNG" automatically inputs the shape's lattitude and longitude into the attribute-value field.
- In the overlay's "ATTRIBUTES" window, find or add an empty attribute row.
- Under the "Shared" heading, click to add a check to the box.
- Under the "Attribute" heading, click on the empty field. Then input the attribute name. For example: "Coordinates".
- Under the "Type" heading, click on the drop-down menu. Then select; "LAT,LNG".
- Under the "Value" heading, you will see the Lattitude and Longitude added automatically.
In the case of a polygone, the Longitude and Latitude are determined by the first point.
- (Optional) If this is the last attribute you're adding, click the button: "SAVE ATTRIBUTES".
