How to upgrade to a Pro account

Why you may need Pro
You may need to upgrade to Pro if:

• You have already used your 5 lifetime map saves on a Free account.
• You need to add more than 1 user in Manage Users on a Free account.
• You previously saved a map while on a trial or Pro plan and now need to save changes to that Pro map again.

Login to your Scribble Maps account

(Optional) Demo a Pro account

Note: Before you decide to purchase a subscription, you can demo a Pro account. While most features are enabled, the map saving features are disabled. 

1. (Optional) If the Layers Panel isn't open on the right side of the browser window, click the vertical bar.  

    

2. Click the "DEMO" button. 

   A pop-up will appear displaying the message: "All current map changes will be lost. Continue?"
    

3. This step has 2 options.

   Option 1

   Click "Yes" to proceed to the demo without saving the map's changes.

    

   Option 2

   Click "No" to save the map's changes.

4. In the demo mode, learn about Scribble Maps features by completing the Pro Tour. Then start using the app.

    

5. This step has 2 options.

   Option 1

   If you want to upgrade and save this map, click the "Save Map" button in the top-left corner of the window.

    

   Option 2

   If you want to upgrade without saving this map, click the "Start Trial" button in the top-left corner of the window.

    
6. You will see the pop-up window displaying the subscription and payment options.

Subscribe to a Pro account

Important: If you save a map while your account is on a trial or Pro plan, that map is saved as a Pro map. After that, you must keep or reactivate a Pro subscription to save additional changes to that map.

1. (Optional) Complete this step if you skipped the demo.

   In the center of the app's footer section, click the text: "Upgrade/Trial Pro".

   A pop-up window will appear displaying the subscription and payment options.
    

2. Click one of the radio buttons for the subscription option you want to purchase:

   Pro Basic

   • Monthly.
   • 1 Year Prepaid.

    

   Pro Business

   • Monthly.
   • 1 Year Prepaid.

    

3. Under the heading "Upgrade Now", click the button for the method you want to use for payment:

   • Credit Card.

   OR

   • PayPal.

    
    

4. Follow the prompts and fill in the information to complete the check-out process.

   Note: You can cancel the purchase at no cost before the trial ends.
