You can use Google Drive to save and load your maps in Scribble Maps. This allows you to organize your projects more efficiently and access them across different devices.
Save a Map to Google Drive
To save a map directly to Google Drive:
Open the Save Menu
- Click MENU (SAVE) in the top-left corner of the map editor.
- The Quick Actions panel will appear.
Choose “Save to G Drive”
- In the Save & Load section, click the Save to G Drive icon.
(Optional) Encrypt the Map
- A pop-up will ask: "Encrypt Data? (Optional)"
- Click Yes to add password protection, or No to save without encryption.
Choose a Folder in Google Drive
- A Google Drive dialog will open.
- Browse to the desired folder or create a new one.
- Click Select to confirm.
Save Confirmation
- Once saved, you'll see the message: "Map Saved to Drive"
- Click OK to close the confirmation.
Load a Map from Google Drive
To load a map previously saved to Google Drive:
Open the Load Menu
- Click MENU (SAVE) in the top-left corner of the map editor.
- The Quick Actions panel will appear.
Choose “Load from G Drive”
- In the Save & Load section, click the Load from G Drive icon.
Select a Map File
- A Google Drive dialog will open.
- Browse to the map file you want to load.
- Click Select to confirm.
Load Confirmation
- The selected map will load into the editor.
- Once loaded, you can begin editing or viewing your map as usual.
