Scribble Maps (Standard Desktop Version):

Mobile Applications
Scribble Maps Lite (Standard Mobile Version):
- Features: Offers a simplified mapping experience optimized for mobile, with essential mapping functions for on-the-go map creation and editing.
- Limitations: Compared to the desktop version, the mobile app has reduced functionality and is limited in capabilities.
- Ideal For: Users needing a lightweight mapping tool for mobile use.
Scribble Maps Pro Lite (Mobile Pro Version):
- Features: Builds on the Lite version with additional features like higher-resolution exports and some advanced editing tools.
- Limitations: While enhanced for mobile, Pro Lite is still more limited in capabilities than Scribble Maps Pro on desktop.
- Ideal For: Users who need enhanced mapping features on mobile but can work within the limitations of the platform.

Lite Only Features
Camera Tool
The Camera tool in Scribble Maps lets you capture images with your phone's camera and directly integrate them into your map.
- Tap the Camera Icon in the top menu. This will open your phone's camera, ready to capture an image.
- Take a Picture using your phone's camera. Once the picture is captured, it will upload to your map.

Choose a Placement Option for your image:

On Map: This option places the image directly onto the map, providing a large-scale visual overlay. It is useful for contextual visuals, such as adding aerial photos or site-specific imagery to give a broader spatial reference.
The image will be added to your map.

In Marker: This embeds the image within a map marker that can be moved and resized. It is ideal for pinpointing specific locations with visual details, such as storefronts, landmarks, or notable spots.
A camera marker will be added to the map with the image within.
Note: You can also add an image to a Marker's description from within the Marker editor.
In the bottom right corner of the Marker's Description, click on the camera icon to add an image. -
In Bubble: Adds the image in a pop-up bubble, which users can view when they click or tap on the specific point. This option is best for adding detailed descriptions or supplementary information that can be viewed on demand without cluttering the map visually.
A bubble will be added to the map with the image within.

International Languages
- To change your language:
- When you open Scribble Maps Lite, tap the flag and language text near the center of the screen to change your language.
- If you’re already working on a map, tap the menu button in the top-left corner to return to the Home page. Then, tap the flag and language text to make your selection.

In the Set Language list, tap the language you want to use.
The new language is set.Note: By default, Scribble Maps uses the language set in your browser.
