Your Maps - Load a map

Open the Your Maps window

1. Login to your Scribble Maps account at:
   https://www.scribblemaps.com/create 
   (Optional) To learn how to log in, visit this link:

2. In the top toolbar, click the "Menu" button.
    
3. Under the "Scribble Maps" heading, click the "Your Maps" button. 

Definitions of the 3 collaboration categories

The "Your Maps" window enables you to view your maps listed under the 3 collaboration category tabs:

• Your Maps
  You previously created and saved these maps to your account.
   
• Team Maps
  Your level of access to each of these maps was specified by the user who added you by using the Team web app. To learn more, visit this link:

• Shared With You
  Your level of access to each of these maps was specified by the user who added you by using the "Manage Users" feature. To learn more, visit this link:

(Optional) - Toggle the Your Maps window to fullscreen mode

For a better view of the category lists, you can toggle the window to fullscreen mode.

(Optional) - Search for a map

You can use the "Search Maps" feature to find a map in a long list. The list will be filtered to only display the maps that include the text you type into the field.

1. Click to select the tab for 1 of the 3 collaboration categories:
   • Your Maps
      

     Search each map's title and description.

   • Team Maps.
      

     Search each map's title.

   • Shared With You. 
      

     Search each map's title.

    
2. At the bottom of the window, click on the "Search Maps" field. 
    
3. Type in part of the map’s title/description.

(Optional) - Sort the maps

You can use the "Sort" feature to find a map in a long list. The most recently saved map will be at the top of the list.

1. Click to select the tab for 1 of the 3 collaboration categories:
   • Your Maps.
   • Team Maps.
   • Shared With You. 
    
2. In the bottom-left corner of the maps window, you will see the "Search Maps" field. To the left of the field, click one of the Sort options:
   • Modified

     Note: The sorting of the maps will be based on the most recent saved.

   • Created

     Note: The sorting of the maps will be based on the created date.

   • Alphabetical

     Note: The sorting of the maps will be based on the first text character in the title. The sorting of text character-types will be in this sequence:

     1. Lowest number, or special character (punctuation marks and other symbols).
     2. First letter in the alphabet.

      

(Option 1) - Load the most recent saved version of the map

1. Click on the map’s title.
    
2. Click the "Load Map" button.
   You will see the "Your Maps" window close. In Map View, you can start to edit the map.

(Option 2) - Load a previously saved version of the map

1. Click on the map’s title.
    
2. Under the "HISTORY" heading, you will see the list of saved versions of the map.
   The list displays the date and time of each save and a "Load" link.
    
3. (Optional) If there is a long list of saved versions, you can view older versions by clicking and dragging the list's vertical scroll bar.
    
4. Find the version of the map you want to load. Then click the "Load" link. 
   You will see the "Your Maps" window close. In Map View, you can start to edit the map.
