1. Login to your Scribble Maps account at:
   https://www.scribblemaps.com/create 
   (Optional) To learn how to log in, visit this link:
   How to login/register
    
2. In the top toolbar, click the "Menu" button.
    
3. Under the "Scribble Maps" heading, click: "Load From Computer".
    
4. Find the location where you stored the file on your computer. The file's default download location will usually be your "Downloads" folder.
   The file’s:
   • Format will be: "SMJSON".
   • Name will end with: ".smjson".
    
5. To select the file, click on it. Then click the "Open" button.
   You will see a pop-up that displays the message: "Map Loaded". 
    
6. Click: "Ok".
    
7. In the top-right corner of the menu window, click the "X" button.
    
8. (Optional) In the Map View, you may have to zoom in or out to see the overlays.

   To zoom-in/out, there are 2 options:

   Option 1

   In the top-right corner of the Map View, click the:

   • Zoom-in button, "+".
   • Zoom-out button, "-".

   Option 2

   Use the scroll wheel on your mouse.

   For Windows

   • Scroll forwards to zoom in.
   • Scroll backwards to zoom out.

    

   For Mac

   • Scroll backwards to zoom in.
   • Scroll forwards to zoom out.

    

    
9. In the Layers Panel, you will see the overlay rows.
   (Optional) If the Layers Panel isn't open on the right side of the browser window, click the vertical bar.

(Option 2) - Upload an offline map file that’s encrypted

Encryption

1. Login to your Scribble Maps account at:
   https://www.scribblemaps.com/create

2. In the top toolbar, click the "Menu" button.
    
3. Under the "Scribble Maps" heading, click: "Load From Computer".
    
4. Find the file’s location on your computer. The file's default download location will usually be your "Downloads" folder.
   The file’s:
   • Format will be: "SMJSON".
   • Name will end with: "_encrypted.smjson".
    
5. To select the file, click on it. Then click the "Open" button.
   The app will automatically recognize that the file requires decryption.
    
6. You will see a pop-up appear displaying the heading: "Encryption Password". 
    
7. Type the encryption password into the text field. Then click "Submit".
    
8. When the app is finished processing, you will see a pop-up displaying the message: "Map Loaded". 
    
9. Click: "Ok".
    
10. In the top-right corner of the menu window, click the "X" button.
     
11. (Optional) In the Map View, you may have to zoom in or out to see the overlays.
