The current article explains how to load a map manually starting from the step of the saved map being opened in Scribble Maps.

Save a map
Copy the map ID from the "Save Map" window
- In the top toolbar, click "MENU".
- Under the "Scribble Maps" heading, click "Save Map".
- Copy the map ID.
Copy by double-clicking to select the text under the "Map Id" heading. Then use your keyboard to press:
- Quick Key: Ctrl + C (for Windows).
- Quick Key: Command + C (for Macs).
Paste the map ID into a text file on your computer
- Use your computer to open a text file in text editor software. For example:
- Notepad on Windows systems.
- TextEdit on Mac systems.
- Paste the map ID into the text file.
Paste by using your keyboard to press:
- Quick Key: Ctrl + V (for Windows).
- Quick Key: Command + V (for Macs).
- Save the text file.
The Map ID is now ready for you to use later.

- Open Scribble Maps.

To create a new map:
- Click the "MENU" button in the top toolbar.
- Under the heading, "Scribble Maps", click the button: "New Map".
- (Optional) Click: "Yes".
- Click: "Ok".
- In the top-right corner of the menu window, click the "X" button.
- In the Map View, you will see the new map.
- Click the "MENU" button in the top toolbar.
- In the top toolbar, click the "MENU" button.
- Under the "Save & Load" heading, click the button: "Load & Import".
- In the load/import pop-up, click the "Map ID" button.
You will see the "LOAD/IMPORT MAP" window. - Click to select the radio button for your preferred option.
- Import - Adds the contents of one map to the current map.
- Load - Clears all map data and only loads the selected map.
- Use your computer to open the text file in the text editor software. Then copy the Map ID text.
- In your browser, click to open the Scribble Maps tab.

Paste the map ID text into the blank field under the "Map ID" heading.
- Click the button: "Load Map".
- Click: "Ok".
In Map View, you will see the map.
