Create the markers
- Create three markers in the Map View.

Add the markers to a folder
- At the top of the Layers Panel, click on the Folder Icon displaying the tooltip: "Add Group".
You will see the folder added to the Layers Panel.

Click and drag each overlay’s row into the folder.
The folder now holds a set of overlays, considered a Group.

Select the line colour, thickness, style, and end cap style
- At the top of the Layers Panel, click on the Toolbox's gear and wrench icon.
You will see a window with Core Operations and Plugin options appear.
- Under the "Analysis" heading > "Hulls" subheading, click on the link: "Convex".
- Under the "Select Group" heading, click the " Select " button.
- Click on the group you created
Select the colours for the border and the fill area
- In the top toolbar, select the "Line Colour Picker" by clicking the Circle/Pencil Icon displaying the tooltip: "Changes line/border colour".
To choose the colour:

There are 2 options for this step:Option 1
Type the Hex Colour Code into the field.Option 2- Click on the "White+Colour" field to choose how much white is mixed with colour.
- (Optional) Click on the Shade Bar to choose how much gray or black is mixed with the "White+Colour".
- Click on the "White+Colour" field to choose how much white is mixed with colour.

Type in the "Opacity" value to choose the non-transparency percentage of the final colour.Note:
- 0% is invisible.
- 50% is see-through.
- 100% is the solid colour.

- Choose the line thickness.
To the right of the Line Colour Picker, click on the up/down arrows. You can also type in the number.
- Choose the line style.
To the right of the line thickness selector, click on the current line style. Then click to select the new line style from the drop-down menu.
- Choose the line’s end cap style.
To the right of the line style selector, click on the current cap style. You can change the style to either round or square.
Create the line
- At the top of the Layers Panel, click on the Toolbox's gear and wrench icon.
You will see a window with Core Operations and Plugin options appear.
- Under the "Create" heading > "Line" subheading, click on the link: "Connect Points".
- Under the heading, "Select Group", click on the button: "Select".
- Click on the Group you created.
- Click on the button: "Create Line".
- In the pop-up that appears, click "Ok".
- In the top-right corner of the Toolbox window, click on the "X" button, to close the window.
View, edit and name the line
- In the Layers Panel, you will see the line. You can click on the Pencil Icon to add a title to the line.
- In Map View, you may have to zoom in or out to see the line.
To find the line quickly, click on the centering button on the line’s row in the Layers Panel.
The button is the outlined square with a dot at the center. - In Map View, you will see the single line connecting the three markers.
- If you select the Edit/Measure Tool in the top toolbar, you can measure, edit, and move the line.
