Note: A line’s end caps can be either: square or round.
Draw the line
- In the top toolbar, you will see the number for the line thickness. To the right, you will see the line style selector. To the right, you will see the button for the end cap style displays either: square or round.
The current selection will be the original style for the end caps.
- In the Map View, draw the line.

Change the end cap style
- In the top toolbar, click on the original style displaying the tooltip: "Sets the cap on lines to square or round".
After you click the button, you will see the button change to the new style.
- In the top toolbar, select the "Fill/Change Colour Tool".
Quick Key: Or you can press the "G" button on your keyboard.
- In the Map View, click on the line.
You will see the line’s end caps have changed to the new style.
