Open the Add Data Source tool
Add Data Connectors
Connect:

Open the Add Data Source tool
- Open Scribble Maps at:
https://www.scribblemaps.com/create - In the footer menu, at the bottom of the screen, click on "Launch Pad".
You will see the Launch Pad menu open.
- In the left-side menu, locate the "Connect Live Data" heading to select the Data Connector you want to use.
Connect Google Sheets
- Click on "Add Google Sheet".
- From the pop-up menu, click to "Choose an account" to authenticate.

Click "Allow" to give Scribble Maps access to your Google Account.
This will allow ScribbleMaps to:
- See, edit, create, and delete only the specific Google Drive files you use with this app.
- See all your Google Sheets spreadsheets.
Be aware that removing permissions will break all existing connectors linked to your account.This will allow Scribble Maps to connect with your Google Sheet. - Click to select the sheet you want to connect to your map.

Click the "Select" button.
The ADD DATA CONNECTORS menu will open.
Add Data Connectors
- In the "Name" field, the default value displayed is the name of the Google Sheet. Please feel free to change this to any name you'd like.
- Ensure the correct Sheet is selected under the "Sheet To Use" field. Use the drop-down menu to change the Sheet.
- Under the "Marker Style" field, click on the displayed icon to select your preferred marker style..
- In the "MARKERS/SYMBOLS/TEXTURES" menu, select the marker you want to use for each location in the Sheet.

Select the Sheet field you want as the Connector ID from the "ID (Recommended)" field.
The ID column should have a unique value for each item. If you do not select an ID column, overlays will not update in place.
- From the "Removed Handling" drop-down menu, select the handling type.
- Remove Overlays
- Keep Overlays
- Move to Removed Folder
What to do with overlays on the map when a row in a spreadsheet is missing. Default is to remove them from the map.

Click on the checkbox to Secure the connector.
When enabled data will only refresh when you are logged in and the connector end point is protected from access.
However, if you are sharing a map, the data will not refresh automatically. - Under the "Title Column" heading, select the title column from the drop-down menu.
- Under the "Latitude" heading, select the Latitude column from the drop-down menu.
- Under the "Longitude" heading, select the Longitude column from the drop-down menu.

Click the "CREATE SHEET CONNECTOR" button.
In the bottom left of the Layers panel, you will see, under the "LAYERS & DATA" heading, you will see the connector has been created. You will see all of the points have been added to the map.
