SkyWatch is a provider of Earth observation data, streamlining the way industries access and utilize geospatial technology. Through its EarthCache platform, SkyWatch enables broader access to the capabilities of over 400 satellites, simplifying the use of satellite data for various applications. This approach facilitates the incorporation of remote sensing data into fields such as agriculture, urban planning, and environmental conservation, providing a detailed perspective of the planet to improve analysis and decision-making processes.

Open Aerial/Satellite Imagery
- Draw a shape over the area where you want to apply the satellite imagery. You can use the Polygon Tool or another shape tool.

Right-click on the overlay.
ORFrom the Layers Panel, click on the 3 dots to the right of the overlay.
- Click on the "IMAGERY" button.
Now you can either:
Search for Imagery
- Under the "Resolution" heading, select the resolution of the satellite imagery.
- Free
- Medium
- High
- Very High
- Select how much cloud coverage you want.
The percentage of cloud cover in the imagery. Lower percentages will have less clouds and better visibility. More clouds will provide more search results.
- Select the "Date Range" of the imagery from the drop-down menu.
Click on the first date, then the last date. - Click the "SEARCH" button to submit the request.
The AERIAL/SATELLITE IMAGERY window will appear.
- From the results list, select the imagery you're interested in and click the "order" button.
Task a Satellite
If prior images are not what you're looking for and require something in the future, you can task a satellite.

Click the "TASK A SATELLITE" button.

Select Area For Search if different than what you previously selected.
- Under the "Resolution" heading, select the resolution of the satellite imagery.
- Medium
- High (70cm)
- High (50cm)
- Very High (30cm)
- Very High (15cm)

Select the "Date Range" from the drop-down menu.

Click the "TASK SATELLITE" button.
- Complete the purchase order.
Purchase Imagery
- Click on the "Purchase" button for the imagery you want.
- Enter your information for the purchase order.
- Please read the Skywatch End User Data Licence Agreement (EUDLA) and click the check box to agree.
- Click the "PURCHASE" button to complete the order.
View Your Ordered Imagery
To view your ordered imagery, click on the View Your Ordered Imagery button at the bottom of the menu.
Add AOI
AOI, the Area of interest, adds the original polygon to the map.
- Click the "Add AOI" button to complete.
You will see the imagery has been added to the Layers panel.
You may need to move the map to see the polygon. - Once you've finished adding your imagery, click the "X" button to close the SATELLITE IMAGERY window.
Add To Map
- Click the "Add To Map" button.
You will see the Blend Mode screen pop up.

Import From Skywatch

Find the imagery you want to import from the list of options.

Click on the "Import From Skywatch" button to import the imagery.
- The imagery has been imported. Click "Ok".
You will see the imagery now has options to add and download.
Download All Files
Click the download button displaying the tooltip: "Download all files. Visual, bands, and metadata."
