What the Billing page does
The Billing page is where you buy seats for your team, pick how often you pay, and manage your subscription. Only owners and admins can use it. Billing runs through Stripe.
You open this page from the Billing section of the team portal.
Set your seat amounts
In the Total Seat Amounts card, type how many of each seat you want:
- Pro Basic Seats
- Pro Business Seats
- Viewer Seats
Then choose a Billing Cycle: Monthly or Yearly.
Check the Subscription Summary
As you change the seat counts, the Subscription Summary updates. For each seat type, it shows your current seats, the change, the new seat total, and the cost for the cycle. At the bottom, it shows the new total per cycle, plus tax. Always confirm the exact total on the page before you pay.
Confirm the change
One button appears, based on your team's status:
- Checkout starts a new subscription.
- Update Subscription changes the seats on an active subscription.
- Renew Subscription restarts a cancelled subscription.
Manage your subscription
The side panel shows your Status, Billing Cycle, Next Payment date, and Balance. From there, you can open the Stripe customer portal to:
- Update Credit Card
- View Invoices
- Cancel Subscription or Renew Subscription
Teams on manual billing
Some teams are billed by manual invoice instead of Stripe. If your team is one of them, the Billing page asks you to email support@scribblemaps.com to change seats.
