What the Google Add-on is

The Google Add-on connects Google Sheets to Scribble Maps so rows with locations can sync onto a map. You reach it from the Google Add-on link in the team portal sidebar, under Integrations.

Open the add-on

Click Google Add-on in the sidebar. It opens the Scribble Maps Google Add-on page at scribblemaps.com in a new browser tab, where you can install and set it up.

Only owners and admins can open this page. Every member sees the link, but if an Editor or Viewer clicks it, a message appears titled Ask an admin: "Setting up the Google Add-on is an admin task. Please contact a team owner or admin to enable it."

After it is connected

Once a sheet is connected through the add-on, it appears as a Google Sheets connector on the Connections page. There you can run checks on it and test reading and writing. See the Data Connections article for more.
