Hide the background and border

1. Select the Edit/Measure Tool in the top toolbar.

   Quick Key: Or you can press the "Q" button on your keyboard.

    
2. In Map View, click anywhere on the label. 
   The label editor window will pop up.
    
3. Click to add a checkmark to the "Hide BG" checkbox. Then click "SAVE".
   In Map View, you will see the label's background and its border have been removed.

Show the background and border

1. Select the Edit/Measure Tool in the top toolbar.

   Quick Key: Or you can press the "Q" button on your keyboard.

    
2. In Map View, click anywhere on the label. 
   The label editor window will pop up.
    
3. Click to remove the checkmark from the "Hide BG" checkbox. Then click "SAVE".
   In Map View, you will see the label's background and its border have been added.
