Export GeoJSON/WKT or GPX data for a single overlay/folder

If you need sample attribute data, visit this link: How to manually add an attribute to an overlayIf you're exporting from a map containing filters, the downloaded GeoJSON, CSV or KML file will only contain the overlays displayed at the time of the last save.The hidden overlays and actual filters are not exported.
Export As - Save
- In the top toolbar, click the "MENU" button.
- Under the "Import & Export" heading, next to "Export As", select the desired file type from the drop-down menu.
- (Optional) If the map has unsaved changes, you will see a pop-up displaying this message: "You have unsaved data that will not be..." Click:
- "Save Now" to save the changes.

Save a mapOR - "Continue" to not save the changes.
GeoJSON, TopoJSON, CSV, PARQUET, SMT, SMJSON work differently than the other file formats. They do not need to be saved first as it will always provide the most up-to-date information.

- "Save Now" to save the changes.
Export GeoJSON/WKT or GPX data for a single overlay/folder
Types of overlays:
- Can be exported.
- Can't be exported.
- Can be partially exported.
When you export a single overlay/folder, you can export the GeoJSON data for these overlay types:
- Shapes - Rectangle, Circle, Polygon.
- Lines - Freeform line, Straight line, Precise curved line, Flight line.
- Markers.
The data won't be usable for these overlay types:
- Isometric shapes.
- Image overlays.
For Labels, the location will be exported to GeoJSON as a marker.The "name" and "description" data will be attributes.For Dimension lines, the dimension components won't be exported to GeoJSON.Only the straight line component will be exported.
Export GeoJSON/WKT or GPX data
- (Optional) If the Layers Panel isn't open on the right side of the browser window, click the vertical bar.
- Find the overlay/folder's row and click on the Three Dots Icon.
ORRight-click on the overlay.A pop-up menu will appear.
- Click to select "Export GeoJSON/WKT" or "GPX".
If you selected Export GeoJSON/WKT, you will see the data displayed in the "GEOJSON" window.
ORSelect WKT.Click the button: "DOWNLOAD FILE". - Save the file to your computer.
You will see the downloaded file in your browser.
The file’s type will be: ".geojson", ".wkt" or ".gpx".
- (Optional) Using text editor software, you can quickly view the GeoJSON data if you open the file. For example:
- Notepad on Windows systems.
- TextEdit on Mac systems.

Click Action - Download File
- In the Click Action menu, select Download File for Overlay/Group (GPX, GeoJSON, etc.) from the drop-down menu.

Click the Select button and choose the Overlay or Folder you wish to download the file for.
- Under File Type, select the file type you want the Click Action to download.
- Click the "+ Add Action" button. Then click "SAVE".
Example: Download Flight Line Button
- Create a flight line.
To learn how to create a flight line, visit;
- Create a block label that says, "Click this to download the Flight Line's GPX file".
To learn how to create a label, visit;
- Click on Click Action and:
- Select Download File for Overlay/Group (GPX, GeoJSON, etc.) from the Click Action drop-down menu.
- Select the flight line from the Select button.
- Select GPX from the File Type drop-down menu.
- Add the Click Action and Save.
- Click Save.
Clicking on the label will download the GPX file for the flight line.
Export using Download File Link (GeoJSON, GPX, WKT, CSV)
Add Download File Link
- Create an overlay.

Click on the button above the Description field.
- Under Overlay of Group, click the select button and select the file of overlay you want the downloadable file for.
- Under File Type, select the file type you want the Click Action to download
- Click the "Insert" button. Then click "SAVE".
When you click on the overlay, you will notice a Download button inside of a bubble quote.
