What the Marker Set Generator does
The Marker Set Generator uses AI to make a matching set of map markers from a theme you describe. You review the markers, then save the ones you want to your marker library. Scribble Maps also adds a legend for the set to your map.
Ways to open it
You can start a marker set in any of these ways:
- Open the Scribble Magic panel, choose the Marker tab, then switch to Marker Set.
- Select the Marker tool, then click Create Marker Set. Type what you need, for example "camping amenities" or "traffic signs", and click Create.
- Ask the Scribble AI assistant to create a marker set.
Step 1: Describe your marker set
- In the Describe Your Marker Set box, type a theme. For example: "wedding", "construction site", or "camping trip".
- Choose your options: - Style: Flat or Isometric. - Color: Multi or Single. - Used on: Light Map or Dark Map. - Outline: Black, White, or None.
- (Optional) Add Style notes, such as "minimalist" or "cartoon style".
- Click Generate List.
Step 2: Review the marker list
- Scribble Maps shows a list of markers under Markers to Generate.
- Edit the list: - Rename a marker by typing in its box. - Remove a marker with the bin icon. - Click + Add Marker Type to add your own. A set can have up to 25 markers.
- Click Generate Markers (50 Credits).
Step 3: Review and save
- On the Review Markers screen, the markers you want are selected. Click any marker you do not want to remove it from the set. Click Approve All to select them all again.
- Click Save to Library.
Scribble Maps saves the markers to your marker library in a new folder and adds a legend for the set to your map.
