By default, a label’s corners are rounded.
This article explains how to square the corners. Then round the corners.
Create the label

Square the corners
- Select the "Edit/Measure Tool" in the top toolbar.
Quick Key: Or you can press the "Q" button on your keyboard.
- In Map View, click on the label.
The label editor window will appear.
- Click to add a checkmark to the checkbox displaying the tooltip: "Square box corners".
- Click "SAVE".
In Map View, you will see the label’s corners are now squared.
Round the corners
- Select the "Edit/Measure Tool" in the top toolbar.

- In Map View, click on the label.
The label editor window will appear.
- Click to remove the checkmark to the checkbox displaying the tooltip: "Square box corners".
- Click "SAVE".
In Map View, you will see the label’s corners are now rounded.
