Fortinet Firewall Speed Issues

The Fortinet firewall can cause the Scribble Maps editor to load very slowly and this is because our application is fairly complex and Fortinet does real-time virus scanning. In order to improve the load times of Scribble Maps behind the Fortinet firewall, Scribble Maps needs to be added to exempt for the web filter. Follow the below steps to make Scribble Maps exempt.

1. Go to Security Profiles Web Filter, then choose the policy you want to
   edit from the drop-down menu on the top right.
2. Under the Static URL Filter section, check the box for "Enable URL
   Filter" and then click "Create New".
3. Input the URL, select Simple, choose Exempt, check the box for Enable,
   and click OK.
