What is removed/replaced when you create a new map?
Creating a new map removes the current:
- Overlays.
- Folders/Groups.
- Legend details.
- Imported spreadsheet data.
- Filters.
- Base Layers.
In the "Save Map" window, creating a new map replaces the:
Current, unique MapID with the New, unique MapID.
What remains when you create a new map?
The new map continues displaying the currently selected:
- Line/Border colour.
- Fill colour.
- Line width.
- Line style.
- End cap style.
- Base map (including Custom Styles).
- Zoom level.
How to create the new map
- In the top toolbar, click the "MENU" button.
- Under the heading, "Scribble Maps", click the button: "New Map".
- (Optional) If there are unsaved changes on the current map, you will see a pop-up displaying this message: "You have unsaved changes. Continue?"
- To create the new map without saving the changes, click: "Yes".
OR
- To return to the current map so you can save the changes, click: "No". Then proceed to save the changes.

Save a map
- To create the new map without saving the changes, click: "Yes".
- Click: "Ok".
- In the top-right corner of the menu window, click the "X" button.
- In Map View, you will see the new map.
