Add To Group > By Marker: Grouping Markers by Matching Styles

If you need to automatically group markers based on their style, Scribble Maps provides a Bulk Style Change option through the Add To Group > By Marker tool. This feature allows you to select markers of a specific style and move them into a designated group, making it easier to organize and manage markers across your map.

Create the markers

1. Create 2 of the same-style markers. For example: this marker style - Tabs > Numeric Tabs > Blue > 1.

2. Create 1 marker that’s a different style. For example: this marker style - Tabs > Numeric Tabs > Green > 2.

Create a folder

3. At the top of the Layers Panel, click on the Folder Icon displaying the tooltip: "Add Group".
   You will see the folder added to the Layers Panel.

Specify the marker style for the match

4. At the top of the Layers Panel, click on the Toolbox's gear and wrench icon.
   You will see a window with Core Operations and Plugin options appear.
    
5. Under the "Bulk" heading > "Add To Group" subheading, click on the link: "By Marker".
    
6. Under the "Select Marker" heading, click on the button: "Select".
    
7. Select the marker style you want to add to the group. For example: this marker style - Tabs > Numeric Tabs > Blue > 1.

Select the group

8. Under the "Select Group" heading, click on the button: "Select".
    
9. Click on the group you created earlier.

Move the matching markers to the group

10. Click on the button: "Add To Group".
     
11. In the top-right corner of the Toolbox window, click on the "X" button, to close the window.

View the matching markers in the group

12. Look in the Layers Panel, you will see the matching markers have been added to the group.
