Save a map file offline - "Menu > Save To Computer"

(Option 1) - Save a map file offline without encryption

Login to your Scribble Maps account at:
https://www.scribblemaps.com/create

How to login/register
In the top toolbar, click the "Menu" button.
Under the "Scribble Maps" heading, click: "Save To Computer".
A prompt will ask: "Encrypt Data? (Optional)"
Click: "No".
You will see the downloaded file in the browser window.
Find the file’s storage location on your computer. The default location will usually be your "Downloads" folder.
The file’s:
- Type will be "SMJSON".
- Name will end with ".smjson".

How to login/register
In the top toolbar, click the "Menu" button.
Under the "Scribble Maps" heading, click: "Save To Computer"
A prompt will ask: "Encrypt Data? (Optional)"
Click: "Yes".
When prompted, type in the password.
The password requires:
- At least 7 characters (total).
- At least 1 digit.
- At least 1 special character (punctuation marks and other symbols).
Click: "Submit".
A prompt will state: "Encryption Complete".
Click: "Download".
You will see the downloaded file in the browser window.
Find the file’s storage location in your computer. The default location will usually be your "Downloads" folder.
The file’s:
- Type will be "SMJSON".
- Name will end with: "_encrypted.smjson".
