Bulk Style Change: Modify Multiple Markers, Shapes, or Lines at Once

Scribble Maps provides powerful Bulk Editing Tools to efficiently modify markers, shapes, and lines. While "Bulk Style Change" is not an official feature name, users can access these tools under the Bulk category in the Toolbox to quickly adjust styles, group elements, and sort items.

What Can Bulk Editing Do?

The Bulk tools provide the ability to:

• Change Marker Styles – Adjust the appearance of multiple markers at once.
• Edit Shape Styles – Modify line styles, fill colors, and apply Rainbowify effects.
• Group Markers – Organize markers by colour, region, or shape containment.
• Sort Elements – Alphabetically order grouped elements for easier management.
  
  

Bulk Edit Marker Styles

To modify multiple markers at the same time:

1. Open the Toolbox by clicking on the Bulk category.
2. Select Marker Style from the available options.
3. Choose the desired bulk action:
   • In Polygon – Apply style changes to markers inside a selected shape.
   • In Group – Adjust markers that belong to the same group.
   • Swap Styles – Switch the appearance of one marker type with another.
   • Sequence – Change markers in a predefined order.
   • Resize – Adjust the size of multiple markers.
4. Select the markers to be edited and apply the changes.

Bulk Edit Shape Styles

To apply bulk style changes to multiple shapes or lines:

1. Open the Toolbox and go to Bulk > Shape Style.
2. Select one of the following options:
   • Line Style – Change line thickness, dashes, and colors.
   • Fill Style – Adjust the fill color and transparency.
   • Rainbowify – Apply a color gradient effect.
3. Choose the style settings and apply them to all selected shapes.

Group Markers for Faster Editing

Grouping elements makes it easier to apply changes to multiple objects at once.

1. Open the Toolbox and navigate to Bulk > Add to Group.
2. Select a grouping method:
   • By Color – Group markers of the same color.
   • By Marker – Organize markers of a specific type.
   • Markers in Polygon – Group all markers within a selected shape.
3. Click Apply to categorize the markers.

Sort Elements for Better Organization

Sorting allows for better organization of grouped elements.

1. Open the Toolbox and go to Bulk > Sort.
2. Select an ordering method:
   • Alphabetically – Arrange markers by their label or attribute.
3. Apply the sort order to update the arrangement.
