You can fill any enclosed area created by freeform lines, straight lines, or overlapping lines. Lines no longer need to be merged before filling.
Fill the interior area

Draw lines that create a closed area.
This can be:- A freeform line
- Straight lines
- Multiple overlapping or intersecting lines

Draw Tool — Draw a freeform line -
Select the "Fill/Change Colour Tool" in the top toolbar.
Quick Key: Or you can press the "G" button on your keyboard.

In the Map View, hover over the enclosed interior area.
The fillable region will highlight automatically.

Click the highlighted area.
The interior will be filled, and the shape will automatically close if needed.
How filling works
- Lines do not need to be merged.
- Any fully enclosed region formed by lines can be filled.
- Intersecting or overlapping lines can create multiple fillable areas.
- The filled result behaves as a polygon and can be edited.
Edit the filled shape

Select the "Edit/Measure Tool".
Quick Key: Press "Q" on your keyboard.
Click the filled shape.
The shape can now be edited as a polygon.
