Custom Aerial Imagery

Before I discover the power of Scribble Maps more in depth, I thought I should ask this question. The aerial imagery provided, from my initial exploration is from Google. It is somewhat outdated. I have more current imagery provided by my municipality (in the form of an .SID file?).

Is there a means that I can subsititute the default Google imagery with the imagery information provided by a 3rd party?
