Copy the image’s URL
- Find the web page that displays the image. The compatible image formats are PNG, JPG/JPEG, SVG, and GIF (including animation).
Note: You can find many freely usable images in the Wikimedia Commons.

- On the webpage that displays the image, click to highlight the URL. Then press:
- Ctrl+C (for Windows).
- Cmd+C (For Mac).
Embed the URL
- Select the Edit/Measure Tool in the top toolbar.
Or you can press the "Q" button on your keyboard.
- In the Map View, click on the marker.
The info bubble will pop up.
- Click on the Pencil Icon.
The marker editor window will pop up.
- Click on the Image Icon that has the description: "Add image to description".
- On the pop-up, click on the "Image URL" field. Paste the URL by pressing:
- Ctrl+V (for Windows).
- Cmd+V (For Mac).
- Click on the "Insert" button.
- Click the "Save" button in the marker editor window.
Test the display of the image
- To test the image, select the Hand Tool in the top toolbar.
- In the Map View, click on the marker.
The info bubble will display the image.
- You can repeat the process to add multiple images to the marker.
