Add and move the vertex

1. Select the "Edit/Measure Tool" in the top toolbar.

   Quick Key: Or you can press the "Q" button on your keyboard.

    
2. In Map View, you will see a pop-up on the left side. Select: "Points".
    
3. Hover over the edge you want to add the vertex to. Then click on the "+" button located at the midpoint.
   
   You will see the "+" button is now a movable vertex.
    
4. Click and drag to move the new corner vertex.
