Move a vertex on a freeform line or precise curved line

Note: On a line, a "vertex" can also be described as a "point".

Move the vertex

1. Select the "Edit/Measure Tool" in the top toolbar.

   Quick Key: Or you can press the "Q" button on your keyboard.

    
2. (Optional - For Pro account users) In the Map View, you will see a pop-up on the left side. Select "Points".
    
3. In the Map View, hover over the vertex you want to move.
   A blue highlighted square will appear.
    
4. Click and drag the highlighted vertex to the new location.
