- Choose the right community.
- Create a new post.
- Paste the Share Link.

Usage Limits
When using Google basemaps in your shared maps, there are monthly view limits based on your subscription:

- Pro Business: 5,000 views/month.
Once your map exceeds these limits, it will automatically switch to a Scribble Maps basemap or similar equivalent.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I share my map without the left-side menu?
You can remove the editor UI by sharing just the iframe URL instead of the full embed code:
- Go to MENU → Get Embed or use the Map Saved window.
- Copy the embed code into a text editor.
- Extract just the URL from the iframe. The embed code will look something like:
<iframe src="https://www.scribblemaps.com/maps/view/YourMapName/YourMapID" style="width: 100%; height: 400px"></iframe>
.
You only need the URL between the quotation marks after "src=". - Share that direct URL. The URL alone provides a cleaner view without the editing menu.
How do I update a map I've already shared?
Easy! All shared and embedded versions update automatically when you:
- Reopen your map.
- Make your changes.
- Save the map.
All shared instances will update automatically.
