General


What is the source of your map data?
Scribble Maps utilizes Google and Open Street Maps for map data.

My annotations are tiny, why?
Keep in mind when viewing the previewing, that it is a preview of a large image, your annotations will be scaled. Make sure to review their size on the approval screen by zooming all the way in.

Can I resell prints?
You can freely resell any maps that utilize open street map data. If you wish to resell maps utilizing Google data, you will need an agreement with Google.

What is your privacy policy?
We don't re-share or sell any personal data we collect. Our full privacy policy can be found here

Roads are missing, why?
Map data is determined by our vendors. For Google you will want to send them a request for changes. For Open Street Map you can contribute map data at http://www.openstreetmap.org/.

I would like to offer prints in bulk, can I get a discount?
Yes, contact support@scribblemaps.com or use the "Get Help" button the scribble maps editor.

Spots (squares) are missing from generated prints?
This happens rarely when image data from vendors are not generated yet. In particular, of areas not regularly looked at. Changing the center slightly and re-generating the prints again should resolve the issue. If it continues to happen, send us a note.

Delivery


How are your products packaged for shipment?
Prints are shipped in tubes.

What if my address is wrong?
If an address is wrong and the product is returned to our shipping center, we will try to redirect it to your new address. There are no guarantees though as sometimes products are not returned.

What if the product is lost in the mail?
If your order is lost in the mail, let us know and we will print and send it again.

What are Shipping Costs?
Regular shipping is free. We always provide a tracking url.

What countries can I ship my order to?
We ship worldwide.

How long does it all take?
The actual printing takes from 2-7 days, and then shipping takes usually 5-10 days. So in general you can expect your prints within 3 weeks.

Is there tracking available for my package?
We always use shippers with tracking, so you should receiving a tracking URL once the product is shipped.

Payment


Do you accept international credit cards?
Yes, we accept all credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

When do you charge the money from my account?
We charge your account as soon as your order is approved.

Printing


What sizes can I choose from?
Currently we offer 3 sizes. 18x18", 24x18", 36x24". If you have an extraordinary project that requires an extraordinary size, send us a note and we will see if we can help.

What kind of paper do you use for prints?
Prints are printed on a high quality photo gloss paper.


Returns & Refunds

What if I'm not satisfied with my prints?
Send us a note within 14 days of receiving your prints and let us know the issue. We take responsibility for the quality of print and the arrival condition.

What qualifies as a refundable product?
Damage during shipping or problems with the physical print will qualify for a new print being delivered.

Who pays for returning the prints it is faulty or in other cases if I am not satisfied?
We will compensate fair market value shipping if the prints needs to be returned.

What if the product is damaged during shipping?
If your prints is damaged during shipping, send us a picture and we will print and send you a new one.
